Meta officially debuted its Fall 2026 hardware lineup during Meta Connect 2026, headlined by the all-new Meta VR Glasses and camera-less Ray-Ban Meta Audio frames. The annual keynote introduced next-generation wearables alongside updated smart eyewear silhouettes and AI integrations.

Anchoring the hardware announcements, the 100-gram Meta VR Glasses feature a magnesium alloy frame fitted with pancake lenses and a 5K display. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Reality Elite chipset via a tethered puck, the device supports Dolby Atmos spatial audio, Dolby Vision, and full-body holographic calling. The VR Glasses offer up to three hours of high-resolution playback per charge and maintain full compatibility with the Meta Quest game catalog.

Expanding its lifestyle wearable lineup, Meta introduced the camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses ($349 USD), built for 12 hours of audio playback and hands-free AI interaction across classic Clubmaster and Burbank frame shapes. Meanwhile, the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 ($449 USD) returns with a slimmer chassis, 3K video recording, a six-microphone array, and new Aviator and Zena frame options.

Pre-orders for the Ray-Ban Meta Audio and Gen 3 frames are open now via Meta with shipping set for October 13, 2026, while the Meta VR Glasses are scheduled to launch in Spring 2027.
