Parisian fashion house Lemaire is expanding its refined, utilitarian aesthetic into the home with the launch of “Objets Senteur.” Guided by Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran, this new collection of five olfactory objects explores the intimate relationship between traditional craft, fragrance, and domestic spaces. With a special emphasis on areas where garments are stored, the capsule approaches scent not just as a fleeting aroma, but as a tactile material designed to dialogue directly with its surrounding vessels.

The collection heavily foregrounds artisanal processes and sculptural forms. The artistic centerpieces are the Pomme and Emboîtage, two ceramic diffusers created in collaboration with the estate of the renowned French sculptor Annie Fourmanoir (1931–2024). The Pomme is a rounded form modeled in textured chamotte clay that houses a spicy “Cardamome Terre” scent, while the Emboîtage features nested, smooth clay spheres that encapsulate the smoky, meditative “Bois d’Ombre” fragrance. Both are designed to serve as captivating visual and olfactory anchors for a common room.

This deep attention to functional craft carries seamlessly into the wardrobe-specific items, which bridge design and the daily gestures of dressing. The Tresse is a handwoven linen braid available in three colors, designed to rest on hangers while releasing notes of warm hay and deep amber. The interlocking Wood Link, constructed from red cedar, offers a natural moth-repellent property alongside its soft, resinous scent. Finally, the Lavender Cushion—crafted in cotton crêpe and filled with Douglas fir shavings—gently refreshes fabrics, luggage, and shoes with a clean, herbaceous “Lavande Écorce” profile.

Conceived to be replenished over time, these sensory objects invite reflection on how thoughtful design shapes our everyday memories and sense of belonging. The “Objets Senteur” collection will be available to experience and purchase at Lemaire flagship boutiques across Paris (Elzévir, Place des Vosges), Seoul (Hannam), Tokyo (Ebisu), Shanghai, and Beijing, as well as at selected retail partners.
