Tudor has expanded its Black Bay Chrono roster with the new 39mm “Bumblebee” edition. Sitting alongside its “Pink” and “Flamingo Blue,” this vibrant new sports chronograph arrives just in time to capture a bold, sun-drenched aesthetic for the season.

Remaining faithful to the recognizable characteristics of the Black Bay line, this new watch preserves the satin-brushed and polished finishes, beveled lugs and the iconic Tudor shield-signed crown, all neatly contained within a modernized silhouette. Its domed yellow dial, contrasted by black sub‑counters, delivers a striking aesthetic that nods to motorsport heritage while remaining faithful to the Black Bay’s diving DNA. A fixed steel bezel with black anodised aluminium tachymeter insert reinforces its sporty character, while redesigned “Snowflake” hands ensure legibility across the chronograph functions.

At its core lies the Manufacture Calibre MT5813, a COSC‑certified chronograph movement with column‑wheel construction and vertical clutch. Offering a 70‑hour power reserve and silicon balance spring, the movement is derived from Breitling’s B01 but finished to Tudor’s exacting standards, including sand‑blasted and polished bridges and a tungsten rotor.

Completing the package is a new three‑link stainless steel bracelet with the brand’s “T‑fit” rapid adjustment clasp, offering tool‑free micro‑adjustments for comfort. Priced at $6,725 USD, the Black Bay Chrono 39 “Bumblebee” is now available through Tudor.
