Professional skater Kader Sylla has teamed up with adidas Skateboarding to introduce his first-ever signature sneaker: The Kader. Arriving today in two colorways, the Kader is both an ode to adidas archives and a non-traditional development of adidas’ signature details.

“I wanted to make something that felt like me and that I’d actually want to wear every day,” Kader shared in an official statement. “We looked at a lot of different references and kept pushing until it felt right. It’s built for skating, but it doesn’t feel limited to the skatepark. I’m excited for people to experience it and take it wherever they go,” he added.

Drawing core inspiration from ’90s adidas Equipment basketball silhouettes, the mid-top model is engineered for versatility from the streets to the skatepark. In brown suede with yellow snake stripes and black suede with purple speckled stripes, the Kader reinterprets the iconic Three Stripes by integrating them directly into the lacing system, blending branding with functional details. Built for heavy impact, the sneaker features a durable cupsole, a full-length Lightmotion midsole, Adituff underlays, and a premium suede upper.

To celebrate the launch, Kader is taking his kicks on the road for a massive global World Tour. The North American leg kicks off tomorrow, October 1, bringing demos and skateshop appearances to local communities from Minneapolis to Los Angeles.
