Harry Potter and Crocs have announced the Classic Clog “Marauder’s Map,” releasing June 11. The collaboration takes one of the Harry Potter franchise’s most visually specific objects and translates it across the full surface of the Classic Clog, treating the shoe as a canvas for the map’s graphic language rather than a vehicle for standard logo placement.
The design’s most deliberate decision is the asymmetrical layout. Rather than centering the Marauder’s Map graphic and repeating it identically across both clogs, the collaboration opts for an offset composition that feels closer to how an actual map would sit on a surface: slightly shifted, with different areas of the map visible on each shoe. The cream and off-white canvas base provides the right ground for the graphic, giving the map’s script fonts, illustrated details and navigational keys the neutral background they need to read clearly without fighting a colored base. Red accents run front to back across both shoes, adding the franchise’s signature color as a structural frame rather than a graphic element.
The Jibbitz charm selection is where the collaboration earns its detail work. Harry Potter-themed charms sit across the upper, featuring direct quotes from the Marauder’s Map alongside the map’s own logo, treating the accessory tier as a continuation of the graphic program rather than a separate branding exercise. Gold “H” charms close the collaboration’s visual language, adding a precious metal accent that nods to Hogwarts without overcrowding the map’s surface. The maroon heel strap pulls the color palette back to the franchise’s most recognizable house associations, giving the shoe a finishing detail that rewards a look at the back of the clog.
The Marauder’s Map is one of the few Harry Potter objects with enough visual complexity to sustain a full graphic treatment on a shoe. Unlike a house crest or a lightning bolt, which function as icons, the map is a dense, text-heavy, illustrated object with a visual life of its own. Putting it on a Classic Clog as an asymmetrical full-surface graphic rather than a repeated pattern treats it with the seriousness the source material warrants, and the result is a collaboration that functions as a piece of fan object design as much as a licensed product.
