PUMA continues to push its archival CELL technology into more sculptural territory with the latest CELL GEO 1, arriving in a single “Galactic Dust/Loden” colorway. The chunky runner comes dressed in a muted mix of dusty brown, taupe and mossy olive tones, giving its technical construction a distinctly earthy finish. The upper combines textile with layered leather panels, shifting between smoother surfaces and more tactile textures to emphasize the model’s exaggerated geometry. Darker Loden accents run through the overlays and branding, while tonal laces keep the palette cohesive rather than introducing sharp contrast.
Much of the CELL GEO 1’s visual weight sits at the heel, where a pronounced ridged structure gives the sneaker its architectural profile and frames PUMA’s CELL cushioning technology. The bulky rear construction is balanced by a more streamlined forefoot, while a segmented rubber outsole and layered sidewalls reinforce its late-’90s running DNA. Originally developed as one of PUMA’s defining cushioning systems of the era, CELL is reinterpreted here through a more contemporary, fashion-oriented silhouette that places as much emphasis on texture and form as on performance heritage.
