LOEWE Perfumes Anchors Five New "Crafted" Fragrances to a Single Amber Accord

LOEWE Perfumes has expanded its Crafted Collection with five new fragrances, each measuring 100mL and each anchored to the resinous amber base the house calls the LOEWE Accord. Composed by in-house perfumer Nuria Cruelles, the set layers familiar perfumery notes over that shared foundation to give every scent its own distinct character.

Cruelles treats the amber LOEWE Accord as a common floor, then builds each fragrance upward with a different set of notes, so the five read as variations on a single idea rather than five unrelated launches.

“Field Diary” opens the range at its airiest, pairing mandarin and blood orange up top before lychee and orange blossom settle in, with artemisia cutting an aromatic contrast and sandalwood and musk trailing off into a soft finish. “Sweet Woodland” turns inward, resting on a base of patchouli and vanilla while rose, orange blossom, mandarin and ginger fill out the middle and a faint touch of cognac lends spicy warmth. “Rosetopia” is the most saturated of the five, centering on damask rose in full bloom and reinforcing it with amber, musk, grapefruit and pink pepper.

The remaining two lean cooler and greener. “Smoky Rain” sends bergamot and pink pepper drifting through what LOEWE frames as a soft mist, then deepens the scent with a warm, smoky undertone alongside amber, patchouli and white musk. “Verdant Globe” starts on pistachio and bergamot, uses iris and orange blossom to hold the composition together, and widens into a gourmand stretch of caramel and vanilla before resolving on cedarwood and musk.

The presentation is pitched to match the raw-material focus. Each bottle wears a granite cap meant to be felt as much as seen, while the flasks themselves are finished in a spread of textures, from high-gloss and matte to a damp sheen and a dry, powdery surface.

Taken together, the launch reinforces the position LOEWE Perfumes has been building around single-ingredient legibility, where the point is to draw out and showcase each raw material rather than blur everything into one accord
