Hudson Williams Rocks Oscars Red Carpet With Bvlgari Jewels… and a Handheld Fan?

Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams made his Oscar red carpet debut on Sunday and the in-demand actor brought a fan with him… literally.
Williams paired his black Balenciaga suit and Bvlgari accessories with a handheld mini fan, to help ward off the Hollywood heatwave. Indeed, temperatures were hovering around 80 degrees near the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles when Williams walked the carpet, flanked by a team of handlers and flashbulbs aimed at him from seemingly every direction. Fortunately, the actor had his handheld fan to (hopefully) keep him cool and not sweat the distractions.
Williams might be onto something — with festival season starting and the hot summer months ahead, a portable fan could be just the A-list accessory we need.

Williams’ groomer Aika Danica Flores posted on Instagram that she handed the fan to the actor just before he hit the carpet, adding that she decorated it with “cute bear stickers.” The portable fan quickly caught the attention of Chicken Shop Date star Amelia Dimoldenberg, who was conducting red carpet interviews for the Academy. “Is this because you’re so hot,” she asked?
“Yes, I’m so hot,” Williams replied in jest.
It’s been a busy few months for the Canadian actor, who has gone from a relative unknown to attending the Academy Awards. Fans have also clamoured for details on the 25-year-old, from his personal life to yes, what he’s wearing — and carrying — to high-profile events. While Williams has seemingly taken his rapid rise to fame in stride, he did release a joint statement with Heated Rivalry co-star Francois Arnaud last week, asking fans to refrain from criticizing or pitting the cast again each other. “Don’t call yourself a fan if you share racist/homophobic/biphobic… comments of any kind,” the actors wrote. “We all respect and support and love each other and are on the same side.”
