Lexus’ new $84k flagship electric sedan goes all in on quiet luxury

It’s a Lexus, but not as we know it. The new ES550e is fully electric for a start, and until recently the brand has been very reluctant on the EV front.
The car has also been shaped in accordance with Lexus’ new design philosophy known as “Clean Tech x Elegance”. Less origami-influenced and with a much more restrained rendition of the “spindle grille”, it presents a fresh direction.
