‘It’s bad management’: Investors call BS on AI job cuts

Investors are increasingly calling out big companies for blaming job cuts on artificial intelligence when in fact they are due to more mundane reasons such as poor management, overhiring and declining sales.
“AI-washing”, experts warn, is making it harder to gauge what recent rounds of redundancies mean for the future of jobs. It is also making companies appear to be more productive than is the case.
