Another busy year, but the major trend was the same as last year, and the one before: the rise and rise and rise of the Chinese motor industry.
The improving quality and fast model turnarounds of an almost uncountable number of brands has been stunning. This year’s Shanghai motor show highlighted the breadth of output, the innovative technology, and the size of the country’s automotive ambitions.
