Like many of the gadgets we review, xTool’s new O1 Omni printer comes with a quick-start guide. Unlike many of the gadgets we review, getting starting with the O1 Omni is anything but quick.
Setting it up involves wearing nitrile gloves to install 10 cartridges filled with UV ink of various colours and two cartridges filled with moisturising liquid, using 14 syringes to prime those ink cartridges, and following instructions that say you should dispose of the syringes “according to government regulations”.
