No privacy doors, but this business class has a cocktail bar

There’s a reason why travellers seek out the Emirates Airbus A380: it’s now the only aircraft flying from Australia with a staffed cocktail bar. Located at the back of the upper deck, the horseshoe-shaped social space is an exclusive perk for business-class and first-class passengers.
Qatar and Etihad have bars on their A380s but no longer fly the superjumbos to Australia. Virgin Australia had one on its Boeing 777, which didn’t survive the pandemic, while Qantas’s A380 has a lounge with no bar. So, it’s down to Emirates to provide mixed drinks in mixed company. May that continue for a good while longer.
