You can now use Shopee on ChatGPT

In addition to the strategic partnership announced by Sea and OpenAI, users in Malaysia can now access Shopee support directly through ChatGPT, starting today. To use it, go to ChatGPT Apps, connect to Shopee, then click "Start chat".

An easier way to get what you are looking for?

For your information, you can link your Shopee account (or not) and start using it to make any inquiries or do any searches. This makes it even easier for you to research or compare a product, and then go straight to Shopee to make a purchase. Through our experiment, we tried asking about laptop offers for students, and it then listed related products, including providing explanations for the product we were looking for.

Besides that, the purchasing process still takes place on the Shopee app or website, rather than directly through ChatGPT. However, this is a new beginning, and we may see more improvements and integrations as the days go by.
