POCO Pad X1 and Pad M1 Malaysia release - Powerful mid-range Snapdragon chipsets, up to 144Hz refresh rate, and more from RM1199
The POCO F8 series has officially launched in Malaysia today, with two new models added to its gaming lineup. However, the POCO F8 Ultra and POCO F8 Pro weren't the only devices POCO Malaysia had to show. The company also unveiled the Pad X1 and Pad M1 tablets, so let's check out the details below.
POCO Pad X1
The POCO Pad X1 is the smaller of the two, sporting an 11.2-inch 3.2K display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Of course, this tablet is intended for gaming and visual entertainment. It houses a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and has 512GB of internal storage for all your mobile games.
It even has a decent 8850mAh battery that supports 45W wired Turbo charging, ensuring you get to game for hours on end. Another advantage the POCO Pad X1 has is its speakers. Unlike most tablets, the Pad X1 has quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a 200% volume boost, so you can hear your games loud and clear without needing headphones.
POCO Pad M1
The second tablet POCO Malaysia revealed was the POCO Pad M1. This one is a slightly larger 12.1-inch tablet featuring a 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has the same Dolby Atmos-powered quad-speaker setup, but goes further with a 300% volume boost for loud and clear audio.
Like the POCO Pad X1, the POCO Pad M1 also features a mid-range Qualcomm chipset. However, its Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset is expected to deliver a notable improvement in gaming performance. In addition, it has a larger 12000mAh battery, so you'll definitely get many hours of mobile gaming out of this tablet.
Price and availability
The POCO Pad X1 is now in Malaysia for RM1499, while the POCO Pad M1 will be available via Shopee on 2 December for RM1199. Additionally, POCO Malaysia is offering an early bird promo with RM200 off for both models until 18 December 2025. Early birds who purchase the Pad X1 will get 50% off the Keyboard and Focus Pen, while Pad M1 buyers can get a tablet cover worth RM199.
