Tune Talk Offers Free 1-month E-Roaming in Saudi Arabia for Malaysian Pilgrims

Starting 1 August, Tune Talk is offering complimentary or FREE 1-month E-Roaming in Saudi Arabia for subscribers performing Hajj or Umrah on Epik+ 50, Epik+ Family, and Epik+ Family Safe plans, as well as Epik+ 35 and Epik+ 28 users who have been on these plans for more than 6 months. The feature lets Malaysian pilgrims use domestic data to save between RM89 and RM180 monthly.

Simplified Connectivity for Pilgrims

The free service activates automatically upon landing in Saudi Arabia, offering 1 month of hassle-free roaming for MyKad holders on eligible plans, while those who do not meet the 6 month loyalty period requirement can purchase E-Roaming separately as an add-on. Tune Talk Co-Founder and CEO Gurtaj Singh Padda stated that the initiative aims to remove logistical hurdles for the approximately 300,000 Umrah and 31,600 Hajj pilgrims traveling annually, letting them focus fully on their pilgrimage.
