For your information, CIMB explained that its security team had reviewed and confirmed that all systems were secure and that customer data remained fully protected. Earlier, a post went viral on X claiming a data leak involving CIMB customers.

The allegedly leaked data set is said to contain 1.2 million unique lines of sensitive financial information, including customers' full names, account numbers and bank card information, as well as user data such as phone numbers, gender and dates of birth.

However, CIMB assured that the allegations were false and confirmed that there was no data leak. As of now, there are no further details on the news. So, we should wait for more announcements from CIMB.
