U Mobile is doing well in Opensignal Malaysia Mobile Network Experience Report July 2026

Opensignal recently released its July 2026 Mobile Network Experience Report for Malaysia, revealing that U Mobile won 5 awards and shared 3, with a 99-point jump in Reliability to joint first place (884-885/1000) alongside CelcomDigi and Unifi. With its ULTRA5G deployment crossing 80% coverage, U Mobile also got the Consistent Quality award at 73.9%, alongside top spots for overall Download Speed, Upload Speed, and 5G Availability nationwide.

How Other Major Malaysian Telcos Performed

While U Mobile secured the most regional awards with 51 wins across Malaysia, CelcomDigi retained its lead in Coverage Experience with a score of 8.8 out of 10, while Unifi dominated experiential metrics by winning Video, Games, and Voice App categories outright. Yes kept its title for Time on Network and scored a 61-point gain in Reliability following its 5G Advanced rollout, as DNB freed up an extra 100MHz spectrum in the 3.5GHz band for remaining wholesale partners.
