Samsung plans to host a large exhibition space during CES 2026

Remember the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) and how it was permanently cancelled? The same thing could happen to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the future, with companies hosting their own events. That seems to be what Samsung plans to do in 2026.

The First Look

Recently, Samsung announced a special plan for its CES 2026 exhibition from 6 to 9 January 2026. Instead of the usual exhibition space at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, Samsung's exhibition hall will be located at The Wynn Las Vegas. For those unfamiliar, the two locations are relatively close by. It's within walking distance, so convention goers should be able to visit the main CES 2026 exhibition space and Samsung's exhibition hall.

What will Samsung showcase?

So, what is Samsung planning to showcase at its "The First Look" event? According to the company, the exhibition space will feature "product exhibitions, presentations, events, technology forums and consultations with key clients and partners". Considering the possible size of the exhibition space, expect to see plenty of new tech from Samsung.

As for specifics, Samsung has confirmed it will discuss its "unified AI approach for Device eXperience." AI is likely to be a major focus for the company in 2026, as the company has plans to showcase AI applications in mobile, home appliances and displays.

Is this the start of companies breaking away from CES 2026? I can't say for certain yet, but E3's decline proves that it's possible. We'll have to see what the big tech companies do in the coming years. But until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more CES 2026 updates.
