vivo X Fold 6 China release - 4.4mm thin, 7000mAh battery, Dimensity 9500 Super Edition, 200MP Zeiss camera and more for ~RM4806

The vivo X Fold 6 foldable display smartphone has officially been released in China. Featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset, a 7000mAh battery, and 200MP Zeiss main camera for a just 4.4mm thin foldable display smartphone is impressive. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but its available on a 1 July 2026 pre-order from 7999.00 yuan (~RM4806) with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Thin foldable but big battery and camera?

Despite the large battery, the vivo X Fold 6 Salt Lake and Polar Night color variants measure just 4.4mm thin when unfolded and 9.4mm thin when folded, weighing 228g. The Blue Hole edition is slightly thicker at 4.8mm unfolded and 9.9mm folded, weighing 235g. The phone comes bundled with a 100W fast charger that maxes out at 80W, while also supporting 40W wireless flash charging and OTG reverse charging capabilities. There's also a zoom teleconverter kit too.

Now that it's been proven possible, will other foldables also pack in larger batteries and cameras too?
