iQOO 15T release - Dimensity 9500 chipset, 200MP main camera, 8000mAh battery, and more from ~RM 2,217

After the iQOO 15's launch last December, iQOO subsequently released the iQOO 15 Ultra and iQOO 15R. But the iQOO 15 series isn't stopping there, as there's one more model - the iQOO 15T. It debuted last night in China, so let's take a look at what it offers.

Tech specs and features

Where the iQOO 15 and iQOO 15 Ultra are positioned more as the gaming-centric performance flagship, the iQOO 15T is a "lite variant" like the iQOO 15R. It features a Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Interestingly, the chipset is a special Monster Edition with an overclocked 4.21 GHz prime CPU core. It also has an ARM G1-Ultra GPU and iQOO's Q3 gaming chip for real-time ray-tracing.

Overall, the iQOO 15T's overclocked Dimensity 9500 should perform better than the iQOO 15R's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. However, the biggest difference between the two models would be the cameras. The iQOO 15T packs a 200MP main camera using a 1/1.56-inch sensor, f/1.88 aperture, and OIS. It supports a lossless zoom of up to 4x, 40x digital zoom, and various focal lengths from 23mm to 100mm. It's paired with a 50MP ultra-wide camera with macro support, and a 16MP front camera for selfies.

As for the display, the iQOO 15T has a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display. It has an adaptive refresh rate of 1-144Hz, 1440x3168 resolution, and a 4500 nits peak brightness. This display also has HDR mode, a wide DCI-P3 colour gamut, 2592Hz PWM dimming, and eye-comfort technologies.

Another upgrade this model has is the 8000mAh Blue Ocean battery, which ensures you can game for hours without pause. Other noteworthy features include the 4000Hz touch sampling, Super Moon mode photography, and 8K video recording. You can find more details of the iQOO 15T here.

The iQOO 15T is now out in China in Qingyun, Legend Edition, and Track Edition colourways. There are five variants available, with the prices as below:
