OPPO Reno16 and OPPO Reno16 F Malaysia release - Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, up to 12GB RAM, 512GB storage and more from RM2,699

Alongside the Pro model, OPPO Malaysia launched the Reno16 and Reno16F. The base Reno16 features a 6.32-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, up to 12GB RAM/512GB storage, and ColorOS 16. It packs a 6700mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W fast charging. Starting at RM2,699, purchases include a chance to win two BABYMONSTER concert tickets.

For your information, the camera system consists of four 50MP sensors that include the main camera, ultra-wide, telephoto and front camera. In addition, the phone offers additional features such as IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K resistance, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.4 support and an optical fingerprint sensor under the screen.

Besides that, OPPO Reno16 F uses a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It is paired with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip with 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage options and runs the ColorOS 16 interface.

Both phones come with a large battery

Additionally, it features a 7000mAh battery based on Silicon-Carbon technology with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging support. The camera system consists of a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 50MP telephoto with OIS and a 50MP front camera. Additional features include IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K, stereo speakers and an optical fingerprint sensor under the screen.

For the Malaysian market, OPPO Reno16 is sold at a starting price of RM2699 for the 8GB RAM + 258G variant, while the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant is offered at a price of RM2999. Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno16 F is sold at a starting price of RM1899 (online) and RM1999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant. For the 8GBRAM + 256GB variant, it is priced at RM2299.

To celebrate this launch, OPPO Malaysia is hosting a 5-day roadshow from today until 12 July 2026 at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya (LG West Court). Customers can visit the OPPO Reno16 Series roadshow for limited-time promotions, exciting on-ground activations and a lucky draw contest with two BABYMONSTER concert tickets up for grabs. Not only that, but mall-goers can also look forward to special performances by local artists, including Insomniacks and Zaki Yamani, on 11 July 2026.
