Samsung Odyssey G8 gaming monitors in Malaysia announced with Dual-Mode, up to 6K displays and more

Samsung has officially launched its latest Odyssey G8 gaming monitors in Malaysia, featuring 6K resolutions at 165Hz and 3K resolutions at 330Hz. However, the fact that you can easily switch between the 2 is one of the features we like the most. As part of the Samsung Online Merdeka Screen and Sound Upgrade Promotion running from 1 August to 30 September 2026, the 27-inch Odyssey G8 G80HF is available at a promo price of RM3,099 (RRP RM3,799).

A bit more about the dual modes

The flagship 32-inch Odyssey G8 G80HS debuts as Samsung’s first 6K gaming monitor, equipped with Dual Mode technology that lets you toggle between 6K resolution at 165Hz for detailed workloads and 3K resolution at 330Hz for high-speed gaming. 

Similarly, the 27-inch Odyssey G8 G80HF delivers 5K resolution at 180Hz, with the flexibility to switch to QHD at 360Hz when faster response rates are needed. Both models feature HDR10+ Gaming integration so you can dynamically refine brightness and contrast in real time.
