realme Neo8 Infinite Edition leak confirms 165Hz display

For some reason, the first week of January 2026 is a hot week for phone launches. OPPO, Honor, POCO, and realme all have plans to unveil new phones soon. In fact, realme will not only launch the realme 16 series but also the realme Neo8 series.

According to Digital Chat Station, the realme Neo8 is expected to launch in January 2026. The exact launch date is unknown, but it should launch later than the realme 16 series. Anyway, the tipster revealed that the realme Neo8 would have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. That makes it a flagship-class device, just one that would be less expensive than the realme GT series.

There could also be a realme Neo8 Infinite Edition. In a recent Weibo post, a Chinese blogger revealed a photo of the phone's box and suggested that it would have the best display for the start of 2026. According to Digital Chat Station, this is likely a very high-quality flat Samsung display with a 165Hz refresh rate.

Battery upgrade

The realme Neo8 is also expected to have an 8000mAh battery, a notable upgrade over the realme Neo7's 7000mAh battery. Other specs (besides the chipset) were not confirmed, but expect to see upgrades in other aspects too.
