OpenAI’s ChatGPT is aiming to become a GenAI “Super App”?

According to the Financial Times and Reuters, OpenAI is looking to make ChatGPT into a Generative AI “Super App” . This includes more coding tools and AI agents that may allow it to overcome Anthropic’s Claude. OpenAI already has the Atlas browser, Codex for coding and is partnering with Canva and Booking.com to round out its other features.

More than just a new UI?

In the wake of the recent UI redesign for Google’s Gemini, OpenAI is also expected to do something similar for ChatGPT. We hope that it’s more than just reorganizing things. Perhaps introduce even better AI integration or a move away from just prompting to higher-level agentic AI management?
