Poco M8 Power India release - 8000mAh battery and more from ~RM1076

Poco recently released the Poco M8 Power in India with official sales starting via Flipkart on 7 August 2026. The device comes in two memory configurations priced at INR 24,999 (~RM1076) for the 6GB and 128GB variant, and INR 27,999 (~RM1205) for the 8GB and 128GB model. The phone offers up to 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates and more.

Other features 

The main feature of the Poco M8 Power is its large 8000mAh battery, designed to offer up to 28 hours of video playback, 14 hours of gaming, 31 hours of social media use, 11 hours of navigation, or 38 days of standby on a single charge. It supports 45W wired fast charging as well as 22.5W reverse wired charging to power up other devices on the go. 

Alongside its IP65 durability rating and 8.45mm slim profile, the smartphone runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3 out of the box and is backed by 4 generations of Android OS updates and 6 years of security patches (which does not actually mean 10 years of updates though, but this is longer than the usual 2 or 3 years of updates).
