Instagram is now starting to introduce a new feature that allows users to rearrange the position of content on the profile grid. That said, what should you know about it? Here’s everything you need to know.

Chronological order lock for your posts grid is a thing of the past

For your information, the 'Reorder Grid' feature means that users are no longer tied to the chronological order or original position of a post. Instead, the profile grid layout can be adjusted to highlight specific content at the front of the profile. According to Instagram, this feature gives users more control over how their content is presented.

Additionally, it can be used to highlight their best work, rearrange the visual theme of the profile, or make the profile more reflective of the account owner's identity. To use the feature, users simply need to open their profile, press and hold any post on the grid, select "Reorder Grid", then drag the post to the desired position.

Once changes are made, the new arrangement will be automatically saved and will be immediately visible to everyone who visits the profile. Instagram announced that this feature will be available to users starting this week and will be expanded gradually.
