YouTube now allows you to upload dwarf images up to 50MB
According to YouTube CEO Neal Mohan, large images will have a higher resolution when viewed on a TV. The era of thumbnail images that look blurry or broken on a TV is over. So, what should you know about it?
More flexibility for content creators
For your information, the feature is being enabled for all YouTube Creators today. To recap, dwarven images or thumbnails are used as bait for viewers to watch videos uploaded to YouTube. Various techniques are used, such as large, gaping faces à la MrBeast, minimalist images with a single object, and AI-generated images that are completely different from the video content.
So far, the size of the dwarven image has been limited to 2MB, but last weekend it was increased to 50MB. Plus, YouTube is adding a variety of new features that content creators can use, such as comment summaries and AI-assisted ad placement. At the same time, they also introduced the less popular 30-second non-skippable ad feature to YouTube TV users last week.
