GIGABYTE AERO X16 could be the ideal laptop for Malaysia's student creators

GIGABYTE recently released the AERO X16 laptop for students looking for a 4K video rendering workhorse that is slim and portable enough to be brought in for project presentations. Weighing in at just 1.9kg and only 16.7mm thick, the laptop with a minimalist design could be what you need if you’re a student creator or you’re buying for one.

Powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor and an NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPU, the AERO X16 offers more than enough performance for even higher-end rendering. If you also have to do some AI development (everyone has to these days) then it also has an integrated XDNA NPU (50 TOPS) + NVIDIA Blackwell (798 AI TOPS).

For the designers, the 16-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixel resolution display with an 16:10 aspect ratio is both factory pre-calibrated and Pantone Validated for reliable color reproduction. The screen also supports up to a 165Hz refresh rate with a 3ms response time for smoother scrolling.

Keeping everything cool and silent is GIGABYTE’s WINDFORCE Infinity Cooling system which uses dual 12V power-enhanced fans paired with 3D VortX multi-directional air-channeling for just 30 dB of fan noise. GIGABYTE's proprietary AI agent, GiMATE provides on-device AI while the “Press and Speak” voice controls allow you to switch from Creator mode to Power Saving / Meeting modes just like that.
