HUAWEI Nova 16 Ultra release - Kirin 9010s chipset, 12GB RAM, 1TB storage and more from ~RM3398
Besides the Nova 16 and Nova 16 Pro, HUAWEI also released the flagship Nova 16 Ultra. That said, what should you know about it?
Flagship of the year?
For your information, the Nova 16 Ultra features a 6.84-inch OLED LTPO 120Hz screen that has durable Kunlun glass protection and screen brightness of up to 6000 nits. This is paired with the Kirin 9010S chip, 12GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage and a 7000 mAh battery. Unlike other Nova 16 models, the Nova 16 Ultra supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Additionally, the main camera consists of a 200MP RYYB 1/1.28-inch wide-angle lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP RYYB telephoto. Meanwhile, the front camera is 50MP. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side, while the waterproof capability is IP69.
Moreover, it uses the HarmonyOS 6.1 operating system. In addition, there is a stereo speaker system, NFC, satellite communication support and also 5G network. Although the camera configuration is the same as the Nova 16 Pro, what distinguishes the two models is that the camera bump has a vegan leather finish.
No details on Malaysian release yet
In China, the selling price of the Huawei Nova 16 Ultra starts at RMB 4699 (~RM2754) for 256GB storage, while the top-tier 1TB version is priced at CNY 5799 (~RM3398). Shipments there are expected to begin on June 6. Unfortunately, there is no Malaysian release date announced yet.
