MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ launched in Malaysia, alongside a Prestige 14 Flip AI+ Vincent van Gogh Edition and more

MSI today hosted Malaysian media at Common Ground, Jaya One, for a hands-on showcase of the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, its first laptop powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark. The session introduced media to the new platform, explained why running AI locally matters, and gave attendees time with the device alongside highlights from MSI’s wider laptop line-up, including the limited-edition Prestige 14 Flip AI+ Vincent van Gogh Edition, the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic, and the Modern 14S AI+.

Why Local AI Matters

MSI opened the session by explaining the shift towards on-device AI. Running AI models locally lowers recurring cloud costs and data-transfer fees, keeps sensitive data on the device for better privacy and control, and delivers faster, more reliable responses even with limited connectivity.

MSI also explained why GPU and memory capacity decide what AI a PC can handle. AI models contain billions of parameters, and they run fastest when the whole model fits in the GPU’s memory. When memory is too small, data spills into slower system memory and responses lag. A larger memory pool lets users run bigger, more capable models at full speed.

NVIDIA RTX Spark: A New Page for the AI PC

At the heart of the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is NVIDIA RTX Spark, the world’s first system-on-chip to integrate an RTX GPU, purpose-built for on-device agentic AI, content creation, and gaming. It combines an NVIDIA Grace CPU with an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU featuring 6,144 CUDA cores, delivers up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance, and pairs with up to 128GB of unified memory shared by the CPU and GPU.

With 128GB of unified memory, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ can run large 70B–100B-parameter models locally*. Combined with AI agents that can run tasks, generate assets, and help write code on demand, it turns the PC from a tool into a teammate — with stronger privacy, lower costs, and ultra-low latency. Support for NVIDIA CUDA gives broad compatibility with today’s AI software, while Windows on Arm brings power-efficient, instant-on mobility. MSI also outlined how each configuration serves a different user:

  • 64GB: Advanced creation and AI-accelerated workloads — local generative AI, AI coding, and video editing and rendering, for AI developers, software engineers, data
    scientists, and content creators.
  • 128GB: The best agentic AI and professional content-creation experience — large local AI models, RAG and inference, and professional 3D design and animation, for
AI researchers, LLM engineers, enterprise AI teams, and professional creators.

A Well-Rounded RTX Spark Laptop

MSI positioned the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ as the most well-rounded RTX Spark laptop. It is the only 2-in-1 convertible in the first announced wave of RTX Spark Windows laptops, and combines a slim 13.9mm, 1.9kg chassis with a 99.9Wh battery.

  • 4K Tandem OLED touchscreen: A 16-inch UHD+ (3840 x 2400) Tandem OLED display with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000, up to 1,600 nits peak brightness,
100% DCI-P3, Delta E < 1 color accuracy, 30–120Hz VRR, and Corning glass. Its dual-stack design boosts brightness, uses less power than single-stack OLED, and
offers up to 2x longer panel life. Low blue light and flicker-free, certified for comfortable viewing.
  • Sustained AI performance: A Vapour Chamber and IntraFlow cooling system keep performance stable during long-running AI agents, model inference, and software
    development without thermal throttling.
  • 2-in-1 versatility with MSI Nano Pen: A 360-degree hinge moves between laptop, tent, tablet, and desk modes. The bundled MSI Nano Pen stores in a built-in groove
so it is never lost, and a 13-second charge gives 45 minutes of use.
  • MSI Action Touchpad: The largest touchpad in its class, 53% larger than the previous generation, with customizable edge gestures in MSI Center S for media,
brightness, volume, pages, and app shortcuts.
  • Refined input and immersive audio: A 4-Zone RGB keyboard with velvet-touch, smudge-resistant UV-cured keycaps, plus a quad-speaker system with amplifier and
    Hi-Res Audio.
  • Secure and connected: Fingerprint sensor plus IR camera for facial recognition, dTPM 2.0, webcam shutter, Wi-Fi 7, 2 x USB4 Type-C, HDMI 2.1 (8K @ 120Hz),
and a full SD card reader.

RTX Spark is also optimized for the creative applications users already rely on, including DaVinci Resolve, Blender, Adobe Premiere Pro, and ComfyUI, and accelerates gaming with ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS, and NVIDIA Reflex.
