TIME to discontinue app support on Huawei AppGallery starting 26 April

In case you don't check your emails, TIME has announced an upcoming platform change that will affect users accessing its mobile app via Huawei devices. Beginning tomorrow (25 April 2026), the TIME app will no longer be supported on Huawei AppGallery. The update comes as part of ongoing system upgrades aimed at supporting newer technologies and improving overall service delivery.

App Functionality and Access to Be Disabled

Following the cutoff date, the TIME app installed through Huawei AppGallery will no longer function on affected devices. Users will lose access to key features, including the ability to process payments, view bills, and manage their accounts through the app. This effectively renders the AppGallery version inactive for all account-related tasks.

To ensure uninterrupted access, TIME is directing customers to its web-based alternative, the Time Self Care portal. The portal offers the same core features as the mobile app and can be accessed through any mobile or desktop browser, allowing users to continue managing their accounts, payments, and services without disruption.

Transition Reflects Platform Consolidation Efforts

This move signals a broader shift in platform support strategy, likely focusing on maintaining fewer app ecosystems while ensuring consistent functionality across supported channels. For Huawei users, the change means transitioning away from native app usage toward browser-based account management moving forward. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
