vivo teases its first wireless over-ear ANC headphones
vivo is officially entering the premium over-ear headphone market with the launch of its first wireless active noise-cancelling headphones in China on 29 May 2026. The new headphones will debut alongside the upcoming vivo S60 smartphone series and mark a major expansion of vivo’s audio lineup beyond its existing true wireless earbuds portfolio.
The First Preview
Based on official teaser images, vivo’s first over-ear headphones feature a clean, minimalist design with large cushioned earcups and soft colour finishes. The headphones will reportedly arrive in Cloud White and Breeze Purple colour options while weighing around 238g, suggesting vivo is positioning them for long-duration comfort during travel, office work and entertainment use.
Confirmed Features
One of the key features confirmed so far is active noise cancellation support, allowing the headphones to reduce surrounding environmental noise in places such as public transport, cafés and offices. vivo has yet to reveal the official ANC rating or detailed audio tuning specifications.
Another standout feature is support for seamless triple-device connectivity across different ecosystems. This allows users to switch between devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers without repeatedly reconnecting the headphones manually.
More Details Expected During Official Launch
At the moment, vivo has not revealed detailed specifications such as driver size, supported codecs, battery endurance or pricing for the headphones. However, vivo is also expected to unveil the new vivo TWS 5e earbuds during the same launch event, alongside the over-ear headphones. The earbuds are teased with features including 55dB hybrid adaptive ANC and up to 55 hours of battery life.
