Nighttime airport bus will run starting next week in Latvia

During night service, the bus will operate under route number N22, according to representatives of "Rīgas satiksme."

The N22 will run from the Stacijas laukums stop (on Marijas Street) to Riga Airport and from the airport back to the city centre. The bus will run daily at one-hour intervals:

• from the city centre at midnight.; 1:00 a.m.; 2:00 a.m.; 3:00 a.m.; 4:00 a.m.
• from Riga Airport at 12:30 a.m.; 1:30 a.m.; 2:30 a.m.; 3:30 a.m.; 4:30 a.m.

The bus will follow the daytime route 22 and stop at the same stops. 

Fares and discounts on route N22 will be the same as on other "Rīgas satiksme" routes. Passengers will also be able to purchase tickets from the driver using a bank card.

With the introduction of toute N22, there will also be changes to the schedule for bus 22. The last trip from Abrenes Street to the airport will be at 11:30 p.m., while the last trip from the airport to Abrenes Street will be at 12:10 a.m. There will also be minor changes to some of the bus No. 22 departure times on weekends.
