Frost expected coming nights in Latvia

The week in Latvia will begin with overcast and damp weather – the skies will be cloudy, and precipitation is expected across a wide area. However, weather conditions will gradually improve over the course of the week, and the sun will shine more frequently.

At the start of the week, weather conditions in Latvia will be determined by cyclonic activity, so the sky will often be overcast, and precipitation, mainly rain, is expected in many areas. On Monday, March 16th, wet snow is also possible in some areas, but on Tuesday, March 17, the amount of precipitation will gradually decrease. Fog or mist will form in some places at night. Air temperatures at night will range from -2 to 3 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will rise to 5–10 degrees Celsius.

By midweek, weather conditions in Latvia will gradually improve: on Wednesday, March 18th, and Thursday, March 19th, there will be little precipitation, with the sun breaking through the clouds at times. During the day, temperatures will rise to 7–11 C in many areas, but at night, temperatures may still dip slightly below 0 degrees across a wide area.

The end of the week will be sunnier, with virtually no precipitation expected. At night, temperatures will drop to 2–3 C, but daytime temperatures will remain spring-like and warm, mostly around 10 C.
