Temps will stay above zero this week in Latvia

Throughout the week, daytime temperatures will mostly range between 1 and 7 degrees Cel,sius but on some nights the temperature will drop slightly below zero, so roads will often be icy.

There will be little precipitation this week, with clearer skies, so the sun will also make an appearance from time to time.

Southwesterly and southerly winds will prevail throughout the week, mostly slow to moderate, with gusts of around 15 meters per second at times on the coast.

During Christmas week, temperatures in Latvia will be slightly lower, often hovering around zero, with a slight frost prevailing in the east of the country. Precipitation is also expected at times, and part of the country could see a light dusting of snow at Christmas, but prolonged, persistent, and significant frost and snow are still not forecast for December.
