  • The OnePlus 15s is tipped to launch in India soon
  • It is expected to launch by the end of Q2, 2026
  • The smartphone could offer a massive 7,000mAh battery

OnePlus recently launched the Nord 6 smartphone with a massive 9,000mAh battery and it seems that the company is not in a mood to slow down. A fresh leak suggests that the brand is gearing up to launch another device, the OnePlus 15s. While there is no official confirmation on this yet, the device is tipped to debut by the end of Q2 or early Q3. So, you can expect it to arrive either in May or June.

Meanwhile, some reports indicated that OnePlus is also planning to introduce two more smartphones in May — the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite. While we don't have more details on these devices yet, tipster Debayan Roy claims that the OnePlus 15s will be very similar to the OnePlus 15T, which debuted in China last month. The upcoming device will likely be a successor to the OnePlus 13s, which was also a rebranded version of the OnePlus 13T that launched in China in April 2025. So, a similar strategy is expected to be followed with the OnePlus 15s. Speaking of which, lets now take a look at the expected specifications of the upcoming OnePlus phone.

OnePlus 15s: Full specs, India price (expected)

If we go by tipster's claim, the 15s will have specs similar to the OnePlus 15T. So, we have a rough idea of what to expect from the new OnePlus phone. The OnePlus 15s is likely to feature a 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, the smartphone could run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset along with an Adreno 840 GPU. To fuel the device, the smartphone is expected to pack a 7,500mAh battery, which would be a significant leap from the previous model's 5,850mAh battery if the leak turns out to be true. The OnePlus 15T has support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, so the 15s is expected to launch with the same.

In terms of photography, the smartphone could sport a 50-megapixel dual camera with a 3.5x periscope lens. The device could also come with support for IP69K-rated protection, which is considered a top-tier certification for resistance against water and dust. Additionally, it is likely to have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and support for magnetic cooling accessories.

As of now, there is no information on the India pricing of the OnePlus 15s. In China, the OnePlus 13T was introduced at CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs 40,000) and the same phone came to India as OnePlus 13s with a starting price tag of Rs 54,999. Now, the OnePlus 15T has been announced in China for CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs 58,000). While the price of both 13T and 15T suggest that the OnePlus 15s could see a price hike in India, it doesn't seem like the company could make it available for more than Rs 60,000 in the Indian market because this would bring its price close to the flagship models. We expect OnePlus to keep the price under Rs 60,000, unless the brand decides to price it higher due to the ongoing memory chip shortage.
