The Gautam Buddha Nagar Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive directive for March 28, 2026, in anticipation of the inauguration program at the Noida International Airport in Jewar. Due to the expected arrival of VVIPs and large public gatherings, significant route diversions and parking regulations will be in effect.
RESTRICTIONS ON HEAVY VEHICLES
To ensure the safety and smooth flow of commuters, the movement of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV), Medium Goods Vehicles (MGV), and Light Goods Vehicles (LGV) will be strictly prohibited on the following routes from 07:00 AM to 11:00 PM:
- Noida–Greater Noida Expressway
- Yamuna Expressway
- All peripheral roads surrounding the event venue in Jewar.
Note: Emergency vehicles (Medical/Fire Services) will be allowed to pass without hindrance.
ROUTE GUIDELINES FOR EXTERNAL DISTRICTS
Travelers coming from neighboring regions are advised to follow these specific routes to reach the designated parking areas:
FROM MEERUT & GHAZIABAD: Vehicles should use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, exit at Sirsa Toll, and proceed via Sirsa Roundabout, Dadha Roundabout, and Galgotia University to reach Parking P-07 (Meerut) and Parking P-06 (Ghaziabad).
FROM MATHURA & ALIGARH: Commuters using the Yamuna Expressway should exit at the Jewar Toll, turn right at the Sabota underpass, and enter through Kishorpur Gate for Parking P-05 (Mathura) and Parking P-09/P-11 (Aligarh).
FROM HAPUR & BULANDSHAHR: Travelers should take the Jewar-Khurja road and enter through the Parohi Gate near the Tata Beaching Plant to reach Parking P-14 (Hapur) and Parking P-13 (Bulandshahr).

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR LOCAL COMMUTERS
NO-ENTRY ZONES: Internal roads within Gautam Buddha Nagar will enforce "No-Entry" provisions for commercial vehicles in alignment with the Yamuna and Noida-Greater Noida Expressways.
DIVERSIONS: Commercial vehicles arriving from Agra, Palwal, or Sikandrabad will be diverted at points such as the Jewar Toll, Gopalgarh, and various Eastern Peripheral exits to avoid the event zone.
