Oppo K14 Plus India launch on September 29, key specs revealed

Oppo is gearing up to launch its next mid-ranger Oppo K14 Plus in India on September 29. Ahead of its debut, the company teased the device on a Flipkart microsite, revealing key specifications and design. Here is everything we know so far.

After teasing the Oppo K14 Plus last week, the company has finally announced the device's launch date in India. It will break cover on September 29. It will be the fourth smartphone in the K lineup, debuting after the newly launched Oppo K14 Lite and K14x.

The smartphone will be part of Flipkart’s upcoming Big Billion Days sale, with Oppo promising exciting offers for buyers. Ahead of the launch, the company on a microsite Flipkart has revealed several key specifications of the upcoming phone, including its display, processor and battery.

What the Oppo K14 Plus will bring to the table

The Oppo K14 Plus will sport a 6.77-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The smartphone will run ColorOS 16 and feature a dual rear camera setup, along with a front-facing camera. According to the available details, the rear camera system will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), while the front will house a 16-megapixel camera. The phone will also support 4K video recording.

One of the key highlights of the Oppo K14 Plus is its 8,000mAh battery, which will support 45W charging. The phone will also come with a 5,000mm vapour chamber cooling system, which is designed to help manage heat during extended use.

Other features include dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance. Oppo has also highlighted its Damage Proof 360 Armour Body design and 6-Year Smoothness Protection certification.

Oppo K14 Plus price and availability

Oppo has confirmed that the K14 Plus will launch in India on September 29 at 12 PM. The smartphone will be sold exclusively through Flipkart as a Flipkart Unique product, with launch offers expected during the Big Billion Days sale.

As for the colour options, Flipkart has yet to reveal the marketing names of the colours. However, on the promo, it looks somewhat similar to silver and orange. Oppo has also not announced the Indian price or confirmed the full set of memory configurations.
