Skeleton-like object found in scrap during Delhi BJP cleanliness drive

A skeleton-like object was found among scrap during a BJP cleanliness drive in central Delhi on Saturday. Police are checking whether it is a human skeleton or a model used for teaching.

BJP workers spotted it near a scrap dealer’s shop by the Kali Mata temple on Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg and alerted police.

Scrap dealer Md Abrar told India Today TV that he had bought the box containing the object, along with several others, from a school in the area on July 9. He said the boxes had remained at his shop since then.

Police said their initial inquiry suggested the object may have come from the school. They are checking with its administration whether it was a teaching model or biological material used for study.
