This special edition Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 sold out in 3 minutes

Royal Enfield's limited-edition Shotgun 650 X Rough Crafts has sold out globally, with the India allocation of just 25 motorcycles snapped up in three minutes despite a price tag of Rs 5.75 lakh.

Royal Enfield's exclusive Shotgun 650 X Rough Crafts has witnessed an overwhelming response, with the entire India allocation selling out within just three minutes of bookings opening. The limited-run motorcycle, created in collaboration with Taiwanese custom motorcycle builder Rough Crafts, was priced at Rs 5.75 lakh (ex-showroom).

Only 100 individually numbered examples of the motorcycle were produced for global markets, of which just 25 units were allotted to India. According to Royal Enfield, more than 9,000 enthusiasts from around the world had registered their interest in purchasing the motorcycle, highlighting the strong demand for the collectible model.

The Shotgun 650 X Rough Crafts draws inspiration from the one-off Caliber Royale custom motorcycle that debuted at EICMA 2025 before being showcased at Motoverse 2025. Rather than introducing mechanical changes, the special edition focuses on exclusivity through bespoke styling and premium detailing.

Visually, the motorcycle stands apart with a dual-tone Gloss Jet Black and Matt Stealth Black paint scheme, complemented by hand-finished gold leaf pinstriping and subtle grey accents. It also features gold-finished upside-down fork tubes, contrast-cut alloy wheels, black bar-end mirrors and a quilted leather seat. Adding to its exclusivity are a cast brass Rough Crafts collaboration badge and an individually numbered fuel tank. Buyers will also receive a numbered artwork depicting the Caliber Royale, signed by Rough Crafts founder Winston Yeh.

Despite its unique appearance, the motorcycle retains the standard Shotgun 650's mechanical package. It is powered by Royal Enfield's familiar 648cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine that develops 47bhp and 52.3Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The limited-edition model underscores Royal Enfield's continued focus on factory-built collector motorcycles and its long-standing association with the global custom motorcycle community. With all 100 units now spoken for, the Shotgun 650 X Rough Crafts joins the growing list of Royal Enfield special editions that have been snapped up almost immediately after launch.
