In a city like Bengaluru where house hunting can feel like a second job, one design engineer decided to outsource the chaos to AI.
A post shared by Sunal Sood is now going viral after he revealed how he used artificial intelligence to streamline his search for a home. With the caption, “House hunting in Bangalore is a full-time job. So I hired an AI,” Sood went on to break down his surprisingly efficient workflow, one that has left the internet both impressed and slightly envious.
Instead of endlessly scrolling through listings, Sood used AI tools to automate the process. According to his post, the system scanned multiple Facebook flat and flatmate groups, filtering listings based on detailed prompts. It focused on recent posts, removed spam or fake leads, and even ensured that only “no brokerage” options made the cut.
But it didn’t stop there. The AI also checked travel time to key locations, compiled contact details into tappable links, and delivered a clean, easy-to-read summary. “My workflow and how it helped me, save it so you can try it out,” Sood wrote, outlining each step for others looking to replicate the process.
The result? “Output: 20 leads, 4 visits, 1 finalised.”

For anyone who has tried finding a house in Bengaluru, this kind of efficiency sounds almost unreal. Social media users were quick to react, with many praising the hack as “genius” and others joking that even house hunting has now entered its “AI era.”
Sood’s approach offers a glimpse into how smart tools can simplify even the most stressful tasks because in 2026, apparently, even finding a house might just need a little help from AI.
