The Harley-Davidson X440 T continues to impress in our long-term test, with its classic styling drawing attention while its city manners and highway performance remain under test.

If the first month was about understanding the Harley-Davidson X440 T as a product, the second has been spent appreciating something much simpler - the way it looks parked in the office. Honestly, in a world full of sharp tank extensions, angular bodywork and busy graphics, the X440 T takes a different route. Its design feels deliberate and understated, leaning into classic roadster proportions rather than trying to look futuristic. The round headlamp, muscular fuel tank and clean side profile give it a classic appeal.

Our motorcycle is finished in ‘Pearl Red’, and it suits the X440 T perfectly. The colour accentuates the sculpted fuel tank and draws attention to the bike’s broad shoulders. More importantly, it gives the Harley a sense of occasion. Every time sunlight catches the paintwork, the motorcycle appears more expensive than its price tag suggests. It also helps that the revised tail section and bar-end mirrors introduced on the latest version have added a welcome dose of sophistication.

A few weeks in, the X440 T continues to turn heads. However, it’s not all about looks. We’ll be taking our Harley on a long highway run and checking out its performance. That’s not to say that we will be neglecting its city duties and putting its engine to the test through heavy traffic both during the day and on those night runs. Rest assured, the X440 T is shaping up to be a great riding experience thus far.
