The AIIMS CRE-5 re-examination at iON Digital Zone iDZ Sitapura in Jaipur was disrupted on Monday after a server failure delayed the start of the exam by 30 minutes. The exam, scheduled from 9 am to 12 pm, began only at around 9:30 am, leaving candidates in distress.

SERVER FAILS AGAIN AFTER THE EXAM BEGINS

The disruption did not end after the delayed start. The server reportedly failed again around 20 minutes after the examination began, triggering an uproar among candidates outside the centre.

Candidates are now demanding the cancellation of the All-India examination over the repeated technical issues.

SAME CENTRE FACED NEET PG CHAOS

The latest disruption comes just a day after candidates appearing for NEET-PG 2026 at the same iON Digital Zone centre in Sitapura faced repeated power and technical glitches.

The affected NEET-PG centres were TC Nos. 41682 and 41683 in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Candidates had alleged that the electricity supply at the centre failed at regular intervals, with some claiming that disruptions occurred every 10 to 15 minutes.

The technical problems reportedly affected several parts of the NEET-PG examination process. Candidates alleged that the glitches disrupted login, access to questions, and their ability to continue the computer-based examination.

What was supposed to be a crucial three-hour examination therefore turned chaotic for several NEET-PG aspirants at the centre.

The recurrence of technical problems at the same venue during another All-India examination has now triggered fresh concerns among candidates, with those appearing for AIIMS CRE-5 demanding that the examination be cancelled.
