Samsung launched the Galaxy S26 series in February this year, bringing a new design and some notable upgrades across the line-up. While Samsung usually launches the “Fan Edition” of the Galaxy S series not before August of every year, the purported Galaxy S26 FE device has allegedly been spotted online, giving us a clue about what to expect.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE appeared in an early Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) listing with a real-world image, while a separate Geekbench listing points to some of its core hardware.
But before we discuss what the listings online reveal about the Galaxy S26 FE, do note that Samsung is yet to announce the device.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE design
The WPC listing shows a real-world image of the rumoured Galaxy S26 FE. The device in the picture appears to follow the same design trend as the rest of the Galaxy S26 series. That is, a vertically placed pill-shaped camera module that houses the cameras instead of individual camera cutouts. This also brings the Galaxy S26 FE more in line with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold line-up.
The flash is placed beside the camera module, and you get Samsung branding on the lower half of the device. That said, the camera module seems to sit very close to the top and side edges of the phone. Keep in mind that this may be a pre-production unit, so there is room for change before launch.
The image also hints towards a flat metal frame, with antenna lines being vaguely visible. Also, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE may come with a different colour frame compared to the backplate, similar to its predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE performance
A Samsung device carrying the model number SM-S741U was previously spotted on the benchmark platform Geekbench. This is rumoured to be the Galaxy S26 FE. The listing points to the Exynos 2500 processor, identified by the chip model number S5E9955. That is the same chip said to be used in the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
The benchmark listing also shows 8GB of RAM and Android 17. In Geekbench 6, the device scored 2,426 in the single-core CPU test and 8,004 in the multi-core test. To give you some context, the Galaxy S25 FE, which is powered by the Exynos 2400e chipset, scores around 2,149 in single-core and 7,074 in multi-core.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE display and battery
As for the display, the Galaxy S26 FE is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, rumoured to be made by Chinese firm, CSOT.
Coming to battery life, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is expected to pack a 4,900mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. The WPC listing itself is less useful here. It mentions 5W charging, but that is widely seen as a placeholder rather than the final wireless charging speed.
There is also no sign of Magnetic Power Profile support, which means no built-in magnets. The phone is said to support Qi 2.2.1, but that appears to be the same situation as the rest of the Galaxy S26 series – wireless charging support without full magnet-based Qi2 functionality.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE cameras and software
When it comes to optics, reports indicate that the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE may pack a triple camera setup on the rear – a 50-megapixel primary, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, and an 8-megapixel 3x telephoto. On the front, you may get a 12-megapixel sensor.
On the software front, the Galaxy S26 FE may run on Android 17 out of the box, based on One UI 9.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE launch and expected price
The Galaxy S25 FE was launched in India on September 4, 2025. It is likely that the Galaxy S26 FE may follow a similar timeline, though we have no official word on it just yet.
It is a similar story when it comes to pricing too. While the Galaxy S25 FE was launched at Rs 59,999 in India, the ongoing RAM shortage may force Samsung to raise the prices of the newer model. Though there is no clear information available at the moment.
