Vivo appears to be preparing two more smartphones for international markets, with the Vivo X500 FE receiving another certification and the Vivo V80 FE appearing on the company's official Philippines website. While the X500 FE's latest listing reveals little about its hardware, the V80 FE's product page gives us a fairly detailed look at what Vivo is bringing with its next FE-series phone.
The development is particularly interesting for Indian buyers, as the Vivo V80 FE has already appeared on the country's BIS certification database, hinting at a possible India launch.
Vivo X500 FE gets another certification
The Vivo X500 FE, carrying model number V2653, has appeared on Singapore's IMDA certification database. The listing confirms support for 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity, but doesn't reveal its other specifications.
This is not the first time the phone has appeared in international databases. It has previously been spotted on Indonesia's TKDN and Europe's EEC platforms, while model numbers V2653 and V2654 have also surfaced in the IMEI database.
As for its specifications, leaks suggest that the Vivo X500 FE could feature a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The phone is also tipped to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support.
Its camera setup could include a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. However, Vivo has yet to officially confirm these details.
Vivo V80 FE specifications and India launch
The Vivo V80 FE, meanwhile, has appeared on the company's official Philippines website, revealing a few interesting upgrades. The phone runs OriginOS 7 based on Android 17 and is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7400-Turbo chipset. It features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, alongside a 7,000mAh battery and 90W charging.
The camera setup is another highlight, with three 50MP cameras across the front and back. The rear includes a Zeiss main camera with OIS and an ultrawide camera, while the selfie shooter also gets autofocus. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.
Compared with the V70 FE, the newer model switches to a 50MP main camera from a 200MP sensor, while retaining the same battery capacity and charging speed.
The V80 FE has also cleared BIS in India, alongside certifications in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. While Vivo has not announced an India launch date or pricing yet, these listings suggest the phone could be headed to more markets soon.
