BYD Sealion 7 gets new Dynamic variant at Rs 41.90 lakh

BYD India has expanded its premium electric SUV lineup with the new Sealion 7 Dynamic, priced at Rs 41.90 lakh, making the model more accessible to buyers.

BYD India has expanded the Sealion 7 range with a new Dynamic variant, positioned as the entry-level version of the premium electric SUV. Priced at an introductory Rs 41.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the new variant is aimed at making the Sealion 7 more accessible to buyers looking to enter BYD’s premium EV lineup.

The Sealion 7 Dynamic is powered by a 71.8kWh Blade Battery and has a claimed NEDC range of 520km. It can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 7.3 seconds. The new variant joins the existing Premium and Performance versions, giving buyers three configurations of the electric SUV.

The Dynamic variant retains several of the Sealion 7’s key features, including BYD’s Blade Battery, Cell-to-Body technology, Intelligence Torque Adaptation Control, a panoramic glass roof and a rotating touchscreen infotainment system. It also gets a suite of safety and driver assistance features.

The new variant will be available in four exterior colours – Atlantis Grey, Cosmos Black, Aurora White and Shark Grey.

BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic: Benefits and warranty

The Sealion 7 Dynamic has also been included in BYD India’s ongoing ‘Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD’ festive campaign. Customers buying the new variant can avail a complimentary 7kW home charger with installation, a 10-year RSA coverage extension and an extended warranty of up to 10 years or 1.5 lakh km on the LFP low-voltage battery, whichever comes earlier.

The Sealion 7 is currently available with two battery options across its range – the 71.8kWh and 82.56kWh Blade Battery packs. The Dynamic variant, however, uses the smaller 71.8kWh unit.

BYD India currently has 49 showrooms across 40 cities and says it has crossed 15,000 customers in the country.
