Flipkart’s Sasa Lele sale has started for its Black and Prime members. For others, the sale will begin tomorrow, May 9. During the sale, the e-commerce giant is offering huge discounts on premium smartphones. The sale comes at a time when smartphone companies are increasing prices of their devices due to RAM shortages, presenting a good opportunity for buyers to get premium smartphones at reduced prices.
During the sale, various iPhone models, including the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17, will be available at significant discounts. Buyers eyeing a slim smartphone can get the iPhone Air at a discount of Rs 24,000.
iPhone Air price drops below Rs 95,900
During the sale, the iPhone Air will be available for Rs 95,900. For comparison, the slimmest iPhone, the iPhone Air, was launched at Rs 1,19,900. During the sale, the device is listed for Rs 99,900 on the platform. Over this discount, buyers will get an additional discount of Rs 4,500 through Flipkart Axis Bank offers, reducing the effective price below Rs 95,900.
The iPhone Air, discounting its camera bump, is 5.6mm thin, making it the slimmest iPhone ever made. It is also one of the lightest at 165 grams. The front screen features Ceramic Shield 2, which is highly resistant to scratches. The quality of materials used, along with the shiny titanium finish, makes the phone look premium.
Performance and camera features
The A19 Pro chipset inside the phone is extremely powerful and is the same chipset found in the iPhone 17 Pro, albeit with one less GPU core. Its 6.5-inch display feels like an ideal size. It is bright and brilliantly vibrant.
The iPhone Air has only one camera — the same 48-megapixel camera found in the iPhone 17. As far as camera performance goes, it performs well in most lighting conditions. In particular, it excels in good lighting, capturing photos with a brilliant amount of detail and punchy colours.
On the front, the iPhone Air has the same 18-megapixel camera — actually based on a 24-megapixel sensor — that enables both landscape and portrait selfies without needing to reorient the phone.
Apple does not officially reveal the battery capacity of its devices, but teardowns suggest that the iPhone Air has a 3149mAh battery. In comparison, the iPhone 17 has a 3692mAh battery.
