BB 20: Manoj Tiwari's daughter Rhiti Tiwari evicted days after Salman's criticism

Bigg Boss 20 took an unexpected turn as the makers announced a mid-week eviction, leading to Rhiti Tiwari’s exit from the reality show. The development came shortly after Salman Khan criticised the contestant for her behaviour during a recent task and questioned her contribution to the game.

In the latest episode, three contestants were selected as contenders for the captaincy task. They were subsequently called to the confession room and asked to name the nominated housemate they believed had contributed the least to the game.

Mahhi named Mary Kom, while Yung DSA chose Aman Gandhi. Uditi, meanwhile, picked Rhiti Tiwari. The other two contestants eventually agreed with her choice.

Explaining her decision, Uditi said she found Rhiti’s personality difficult to understand. Rhiti had also attracted attention in the house following her sudden change in equation with Qazi Touqeer.

Last week, Rhiti said she hated Qazi and hurled abuses at him during a diss battle task. She also accused him of physically charging at her during the task. However, instead of backing Rhiti, Salman Khan criticised her conduct during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.

Salman called Rhiti’s performance in the diss battle task the “worst diss ever” and questioned the way she had spoken to both Qazi and Uditi.

The host also praised Qazi for handling the insults with composure. Addressing Rhiti, Salman said she considered herself a “rockstar” but pointed out that viewers could also attribute her presence on the show to nepotism because she is the daughter of politician and actor Manoj Tiwari.

“You are Manoj Tiwari’s daughter. People will say it is nepotism. Now, this is the result of your father’s hard work. From now on, it depends on you. What you do, the blame or credit should not go to your father,” Salman said.

He also criticised her conduct during the argument, telling her that her behaviour had crossed a line.

Internet reacts to Rhiti’s eviction

Rhiti’s mid-week eviction sparked mixed reactions online. Some viewers felt she had not contributed enough to the show, while others questioned the decision.

One viewer wrote that Rhiti had been improving despite not playing a major role, but added that contestants ultimately need to contribute to the game.

Another simply reacted, “Finally, sukoon.”

However, some viewers called the eviction biased or questioned whether it was genuine. Others speculated that Rhiti could have been moved to a secret room rather than being permanently eliminated.

There was also speculation online that the eviction could have been a way for her family to “save their reputation” following the criticism she received on the show.

It remains to be seen whether Rhiti has actually left Bigg Boss 20 or whether the makers have another twist in store.

Before Rhiti, Isha Rikhi and Rohed Khan were eliminated from the show.
