The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 10 Phase 2 board examinations from May 15 to May 21, 2026, marking the first year of the Board’s two-exam system introduced in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
According to CBSE data, 6,68,854 students registered for the Class 10 second examination. Of these, 5,25,655 candidates appeared to improve their scores, while 85,285 students registered under the compartment category.
The CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026 is expected to be announced shortly, although the Board has not yet confirmed the official date and time. Under the revised system, students who appeared in both examinations will have their better score considered as the final result.

Students can follow these steps to check and download the Class 10 second board result 2026, once declared:
Step 1: Open any of the official result websites - cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in
Step 2: Click on “CBSE Class 10 Result 2026”
Step 3: Enter roll number, school number, admit card ID
Step 4: Submit details

CBSE CLASS 10 SECOND BOARD RESULT 2026: ALTERNATIVE WAYS TO CHECK
To check the CBSE Class 10 result using DigiLocker, open the DigiLocker app or website and sign in with your mobile number linked to Aadhaar. Then go to the “Issued Documents” section, select the CBSE Class 10 Marksheet 2026, and download your digitally signed marksheet.
To check the CBSE Class 10 result using the UMANG app, download and open the app, and register or log in with your mobile number. Search for CBSE services, click on “Class 10 Result 2026,” and enter your roll number and other required details. You can then view and download your result.
Students can also access their CBSE Class 10 second board exam results via SMS without an internet connection. To do so, they need to open the messaging app, type “CBSE10,” and send it to the number announced by CBSE on result day. The marks will then be sent directly to the registered mobile number.
